Make Yourself A Light, Celebrate the Solstice

On the shortest day of the year

Please come and make yourself a light.

Thank you for supporting my art and teaching studio. Your attention is a gift to me.

My gift to you is the offering a fresh opportunity to sit at a table and make. I come from a family of makers and doers, at this holiday time it seems only natural to share in the way I was taught.

On the day of the Solstice Dec. 21 I’m hosting an open studio with a making table.

Reserve a space at the making table and transform faux birch branch bundles with lights into a tabletop sculpture.

Instruction begins at 10 am,

Paper mache branches wired with lights will be ready for you to finish with paint and place on a base in a group of 3 branches.

Set aside approx an hour to paint and arrange your bundle of three branches on its stand.

ME: 10 am & 11 am & 12 pm I will demo the making of the branches for 15 min.

YOU: Paint your purchased bundle of three branches and arrange as you wish on your stand. All materials provided on the making table. Each bundle with instruction and as much time as you wish to finish at the table with paints, glues, and help is $36.

Set aside a minimum of an hour to paint and arrange your bundle of three branches on its stand and know you are welcome to take as much time as you like. The making table will be active all day.
